The mission of the WBEMsource initiative is to promote the widespread usage of the DMTF's management technologies through:

 

Innovative Solutions

The creation of an environment fostering open source WBEM implementations The encouragement of open source contributions to that environment The promotion of interoperability between these implementations through standards and testing The WBEMsource initiative works with the DMTF, The Open Group and other interested standards organizations to create and enhance standards, and with developers of open source implementations of WBEM to create an environment of interoperable WBEM implementations. Invitation To Participate Anyone wishing to participate in the WBEMsource initiative simply needs to join the mailing list by following the link on the left of this page. There are no fees for participation or membership. You may participate as an observer or as a contributor. You do not have to attend face-to-face meetings to participate, electronic participation is most welcome.
